XT | VR | User Experience 

Objective | The main objective of MOTIVATE XR is to create a world’s leading XR collaborative authoring, publishing, and experiencing tool suite for training and assistance to industrial operations such as the assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, and dismantlement, of industrial goods. This ground-breaking, open, tightly integrated, and highly interoperable solution will be designed for, and usable by a wide range of users without programming skills, from the largest European industrials to handywomen/handymen, without requiring software development skills. It will offer an end-to-end solution to streamline the whole authoring and experiencing workflow thanks to novel portable 3D scanning and digital twin modelling solutions, No-Code authoring approaches and ground-breaking XR experiencing tools, including a next-gen European XR smart headset, all assisted by the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

It will then evaluate its result in five complementary and ambitious pilots in different industrial sectors including aerospace, home appliance, aluminum, electric distribution, and hybrid human-robot industries.  

CETMA’s role | Coordinator (WP3).  CETMA will lead the WP3 defining End-user requirements and Use-case scenarios. Within our tasks we will also cover UX Co-Design activities, designing the User Experience in co-creation sessions involving end-users and technology developers.
