Call | HORIZON-CL4-2022-RESILIENCE-01-25 – Optimised Industrial Systems and Lines through digitalisation (IA))
Project duration | January 2023 – January 2026
Digital transformation | Industry 4.0 | smart factory | Material Modelling
Objective | The DIMAT project, funded by the European Union, aims to develop Open Digital Technologies for offering SMEs and Mid-Caps an affordable full modelling, simulation and optimisation system in each stage of the material value chain (design, processing and manufacturing) for improving quality, sustainability, effectiveness, and competitiveness of materials. DiMAT will deploy 3 integrated Suites: DiMAT Data and Assessment Suite, DiMAT Modelling and Design Suite & DiMAT Simulation and Optimisation Suite. The DiMAT Suites will be demonstrated in 4 Pilots of European designers and producers of different materials: textile, composite, glass and graphite. The pilots will be implemented to show the applicability and impact of the project and its results in the market environment under real-world conditions. The case studies will summarise the context and situations before and after the use of DiMAT Solutions, along with an estimate of the improvement in the KPIs.
CETMA’s role | CETMA is a WP leader and plays a crucial role in building the DIMAT Modelling and Design Suite, developing the adequate tools for material design, in terms of their internal structure, properties and performance, in order to predict the material behaviour before manufacturing.
